The task of this project is to create a logo (identity mark) for an awareness campaign about microaggressions with the assigned campaign phrase, "Breaking the Silence."
I started considering the meaning of the campaign phrase itself. My fundamental idea is based on frequency in sound. “Silence,” a word in the phrase, is the same as 0 degree in frequency. Talking out loud with “breaking the silence” increases the frequency that was 0 degree, and the zigzag lines enlighten people about microaggression by reminding them of heartbeat signals.
